This plush animal is a collaboration with Ly NguyenVu, currently a fashion design student at FIT. The goal was to transform a monster I designed into a plush toy. 

Various reference of Vidra from the original comic I made in 2011. 

This gag drawing of mine, also drawn in 2011, made me set on creating a real Vidra. The final looks remarkably close to her drawn inspiration and is a similar size, but she has six pairs of legs instead of five. 

The finished Vidra is made out of twill with an aluminum wire armature inside. She is fairly posable and characteristic. Ly helped with the patternmaking and sewing aspects of the plush.
